Lynch altered the composition of "Hurtsey's" to reflect the new Kisses packaging.

While Jay Lynch has been involved in the production of Wacky Packages since their inception, his contribution had largely been in designing titles for others to paint prior to this piece.

The Topps Vault sold the finished art for "Hurtsey's" for $3501.00 in an eBay auction which ran from September 27 - October 4, 2005.
